Carlo is an award-winning actor, director and writer based in Austin, TX. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, he brings decades of experience to every project.
As an actor, he has performed at prestigious venues including the Goodman Theatre in productions like EL NOGALAR, SOLID SAND BELOW, and SONG FOR THE DISAPPEARED. His work with David Cromer on CHERRYWOOD and MOJO at Mary-Arrchie Theatre showcased his versatility, while his role in POCATELLO earned a B. Iden Payne Nomination for Lead Actor.
As a director, his production of THE BUTCHER OF BARABOO won 6 B. Iden Payne Awards including Outstanding Direction. His latest achievement is directing the feature film A MILLION MORE TO GO, completed in March 2025.
As a writer, his feature film screenplay STRANGE, BUT PERFECT received Second Rounder Status in Austin Film Festival Script Competition 2025 as well as Quarterfinalist status in Final Draft's Big Break Competition 2025 and BlueCat Screenplay Competition 2026. His feature film screenplay SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES also received Quarterfinalist status in Final Draft's Big Break Competition 2025 and a First 3 Pages reading at Austin Film Festival 2025.
